Jazzware will be upgrading the hospitality application software from 10.0 p1 to 10.0 p2.

*** THIS WILL NOT AFFECT ANY VOICE OR CLOUD SERVICES PROVIDED BY BLUIP. THESE UPGRADES ARE SPECIFIC TO HOSTED HOSPITALITY CUSTOMERS THAT HAVE JAZZWARE INTEGRATION***

HDSE will be upgrading the hospitality application software from 10.0 p1 to 10.0 p2.

The hospitality servers are in two node clusters and the inactive nodes will be upgraded first. We will perform a manual failover to the upgraded clusters that will account for about 10 minutes of down time. After the failover we will perform all the appropriate checks to confirm the upgraded system is working correctly at which time we will then upgrade the remaining nodes.

In the event a check fails we will fail back to the non-upgraded nodes and troubleshoot the issues on the upgraded nodes or roll back the upgrade depending on the issue.

Also during failover and failbacks we will check the wakeup call reports to make sure that outages will not occur while wake up calls are scheduled.

HOSPITALITY SERVICES THAT MAY BE AFFECTED DURING UPGRADE [APPROXIMATELY 10 MINUTES]:

- Provisioning at Check in/out
- MODIFICATIONS USING HOSPITALITY PORTAL
- Hospitality IVR’s – Maid Status, Wakeup Call
- Hospitality Alerts – Missed wakeup call, 911, etc.

Maintenance will begin on September 25th at 06:00AM PST and is expected to last approximately 10 MINUTES. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact BluIP Support at support@bluip.com.
